About Anston Grange Farm
Our Heritage
Anston Grange Farm is a family-run farm located in the Rotherham Metropolitan Borough, South Yorkshire. Nestled near the historic Lindrick Dale and the picturesque Chesterfield Canal, our farm sits on beautiful limestone pastures that have supported agriculture for generations.
Native-Breed Livestock
We are committed to raising native-breed livestock on our limestone pastures. Our heritage breeds are hardy, well-adapted to the local conditions, and produce meat of exceptional flavour and quality. Every animal is reared with care, given space to roam, and fed on the farm's own lush pastures.
Limestone Pastures
Our calcareous grasslands are ecologically significant, supporting a rich tapestry of wildflowers and providing an ideal growing environment for our livestock. The limestone-rich soil gives our pastures a distinctive mineral profile that contributes to the unique taste of our products.
Field-to-Fork Traceability
We believe in complete transparency. Every product from Anston Grange Farm can be traced back to the livestock that produced it — from the pasture where it grazed to the farm shop where you buy it. We take pride in this field-to-fork approach.
Ecological Stewardship
Our land management practices prioritise ecological health. The calcareous grasslands serve as a preserved haven for native bird species including Linnets, Fieldfares, Redwings, House Sparrows, and Buzzards. We work to maintain the biodiversity that makes this corner of South Yorkshire so special.
